Last week I packed my bags and ventured down to Miami for a quick getaway. Before I left, I told you what to pack, but now that I’m back, I absolutely must tell you what you can’t miss in the Sunshine State. Miami is famous for its music scene, but what you may not know is that it’s also home to an unbelievably impressive art culture.

While I was there, I had the chance to visit Wynwood, my favorite part of Miami. Wynwood is to Miami what Williamsburg is to the Brooklyn hipster crowd – young entrepreneurs and warehouse graffiti are in no short supply. As home to the Art Basel, the Wynwood Walls are a collection of commissioned and protected murals done by incredibly talented artists – you’ll even recognize some big names and famous paintings, above.

It’s easy to get lost in the constant EDM pool party that is Miami, but it’s just as easy to get lost in the amazing graffiti that is not only modernizing art, but also redefining art for the next generation.
