WSP x Fiverr Pro by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys! Hope all is well. I recently teamed up with Fiverr to check out Fiverr Pro, the hand-vetted tier of talent on the world's largest freelance marketplace. Whether you need a new website, content, social media help, videographers or even a voice over, you can find a top-tier freelancers who can help out with all of your entrepreneurial needs on Fiverr. I've evolved as an entrepreneur since I first launched my website, so the Wall Street Paper logo and brand identity is a little overdue for a refresh. So I headed over to Fiverr Pro to see if the freelancers could maintain my core identity and mission while giving my logo a fresh look and feel.

Joining Fiverr is easy—and free! Just create an account on Fiverr’s website or mobile app, and start browsing the thousands of different business categories—everything from SEO to videography! Each category is broken down into specific services (Gigs) and freelancers who offer them (sellers). Check out examples of a seller's work to see if your like their style, and shoot them a message to see if they're available to take on your project. All sellers profiles display reviews and ratings from previous projects, so you can get a second opinion. You can get a good feel for each Fiverr Pro's style and aesthetic by scrolling through their portfolio on their profiles.

After you find a Fiverr Pro you love, then its time to fill out the creative brief! You just answer a few short questions about the aesthetic that you're looking for and, if possible, provide examples or inspiration of work you love.

Then it’s go time! The seller will go to work, keeping  and continue to keep you updated on progress throughout., Don’t worry— you get a chance to comment and give direction during the entire process. It’s truly a creative collaboration.

And just like that, A week or so  later you have a finished product and a brand-new look for your brand!. Check out the brand identity package I received from the #FiverrProfiverr pro that I worked with, Artur Tenczyński, he even did cool mockups of what merchandise would look like with my new brand guideline!

I know that as an entrepreneur, I am always trying to get sh#! done. Hope this post was helpful to find an affordable source to find great creatives who can fulfill your entrepreneurial needs!

WSP x Uber (Spike Lee) by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys hope all is well. This post is in partnership with the folks over at Uber. Today’s post is focused on the hustle + grind of chasing down your dreams.

In case you haven’t read any of my previous blog posts with Uber, it’s a ride sharing app that lets you request a ride in over 600 cities across the globe.

Now let’s jump into today’s focus. Uber recently teamed up with visionary Spike Lee to showcase the drive + scrappiness of 5 Uber driver-partners in the Brooklyn area in Uber Presents: Da Republic of Brooklyn. This short film series follows the journey of how Uber empowers their hustle and how it allows them to have more control of the finances and schedule while they focus getting closer to their dreams. Whether a woman who is riding for Uber Eats to support her acting career or a gentleman who drives Uber with his dog as his co-pilot, these films are eye opening to the advantages Uber provides to their driver-partners

In regards to my personal hustle if you told me 5 years ago when I graduated from college that I would be a top content creator who works with companies (household names) around the world and that I would have founded a venture capital fund that focuses on investing in people of color + women I would definitely not believe you.

The past few years have been filled with ups and downs for sure. I remember the day I started my blog Wall Street Paper (Jan 19, 2015) like it was yesterday. I shot 4-5 outfits every week and posted 3+ times a day on social media. I attended every industry event, met with marketing leads at brands and spent every piece of my down time studying the content creator realm. I did this all while working 90+ hours on Wall Street as an investment banker. Looking back there wasn’t one particular moment that help me to take off, it has been an accumulation of small wins over a long period of time. It's also been from failing fasting and learning from those failures. I really don’t know where I will be 5 years from now but I suspect I will be focused on getting a little bit better everyday, soaking up knowledge from my experiences and continuing to fail fast.

The photos above are just a few shots in between meetings + calls on a typical on the go day in NYC.

Make sure to check out the film series here (UberPresents)

WSP x Uber III by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys hope all is well. This is pt. 3 of my partnership with the folks over at Uber. Today’s post is focused on how I spent a personal day or my day “off” for some much needed “me” time.

In case you haven’t read my previous blog posts with Uber, it’s a ride sharing app that lets you request a ride in over 600 cities across the globe.

Today’s journey start off by sleeping in! It’s rare that I get to sleep past 8am so on my personal day I decided to get some extra shut-eye. Once I woke up I lounged on the couch, ate breakfast and did my morning routine. Then I took a look at the list of cool places I pre-planned to visit.

On the agenda was to check out Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum, the Cooper Hewitt Museum and roam around the Upper East Side. Thankfully I had all of these places saved in my “Saved Places” feature in my Uber app so I didn't have to fumble around looking for the exact address.

I requested an uberX and on the trip I had a ball. Central Park was beautiful as always. Then I visited my favorite part of the MET in the Egyptian wing where they have a pool you can throw pennies in for good luck. It was my first time at the Cooper Hewitt Museum and it blew me away with all of its design focused exhibits.

Well - thank you for kicking it with me for my day off. Let me know what you think about the photos I took along the way

WSP x Macy's X Tommy by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys hope all is well. Today’s post is in partnership with the folks over at Macy’s & Tommy Hilfiger

Recently moved into my new place in Harlem and starting to build out the feng shui for the apartment. The place is getting more cozy each day. During the holidays I had the chance to check out the new Tommy Hilfiger collection from Macy’s.

I chose to test drive two essential sweaters that every guy should have in his closet for the winter season. For outfit #1 I decided to go with a pop of color by choosing the quarter-zip waffle knit sweater in dark harvard red. Quarter-zip sweaters are great for layering (ton of functionality), you can wear a dress shirt or keep it casual with a t-shirt or thin sweater underneath.

I added a little more character to outfit #2 when I chose the waffle knit shawl-collar sweater. This sweater doesn’t have as much functionality as a quarter-zip but it has an elevated look. This is a statement piece that helps add flare or a little spice to your look without a ton of effort.

Well - there you have it. Two essential sweaters for the colder seasons and you had a chance to see how the new apartment is coming together. Much more soon. Make sure to shop this look below!
