WSP x Crowne Plaza by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys hope all is well. Super excited to share some new content from New York Fashion Week (NYFW) that I had the chance to work on. Today’s post is featuring the new collaboration between Timo Weiland and Crowne Plaza on the new wardrobe collection called MOMENTUM for Crowne Plaza’s hotel team members. There has been a new trend (which I am in full favor of by the way) of clothing brands working with large companies to have design led wardrobes for their employee work force.

Many companies like Crowne Plaza have employees who are the first and last impression that the modern business travelers interact with. Which is why the collaboration makes a ton of sense and it also boosts the employee moral to come to work in something they enjoy wearing. Clothes can greatly impact the confidence and work output of an employee, so it is best to cater to new and modern styles while still being professional.

Timo and team had the great pleasure of working closely with the Crowne Plaza and their employees who will be wearing their wardrobe collection everyday. Matter of fact, a few employee’s actually had the chance to walk in the fashion show wearing the collection.

Now let’s talk about the show & clothes! I had the chance to go backstage and witness the upbeat pace of typical NYFW pre-show madness. Timo and team were well prepared and had multiple walk-throughs, makeup checks and quick outfit adjustments. I snagged a few pictures while I was at it! Not to mention, there was an awesome pre-show performance by Ocean Park Standoff

I really enjoyed the simplicity and modern swagger of the men’s and women’s collection. Timo and team stuck to blacks and whites and would layer in greys and plums for subtle touches. Many companies have a one size fit all mentality when it comes to the employee wardrobe, that was not the case in this new collection. Timo and team made sure to make a collection that fit all shapes and sizes. In addition, I enjoyed that both men and women employees have quite few options to choose from. Men can wear a parka, cardigan, sweater, sweater vest and different dress shirts to work. Women can choose from sweaters, blouses, dresses, dress shirts and they have tailored blazers. It’s safe to say that the MOMENTUM collection was a success and you could see the joy on the faces of the employee’s faces backstage in the group picture with Timo and team!

WSP x Frank Wright by Brandon Bryant

Hey guys hope all is well. This is my first blog post on the new and improved website. Super excited to show you all some of the new content that I am working on. Today’s post is all about the shoes. I took a stroll down to the west village for brunch in my new Frank Wright casual dress shoes.

Frank Wright is a heritage British footwear brand that has a history that dates back over 100 years. My shoe of choice in the photography above are the Marvin style which are considered brogues.

This summer I have put a focus on dressing down all of my suit jackets and slacks with modern dress shoes. With this pair it still gives a strong office vibe and you can also wear them out in the evening with friends for dinner. Versatility is key for me when thinking about adding new footwear to my collection. My favorite part of these brogues is the contemporary cleated sole that give it that casual appeal that can be used for work or play. I decided to styled the Marvin’s with a green plaid jacket, chambray button down shirt, black knit tie with some olive cropped pants.

Let me know your thoughts on the shoes and outfit, until next time!

Happy Friday everyone and hope you are gearing up for a long holiday weekend. I am excited to continue phase two of my partnership with I.W. Harper Whiskey.

In this phase we focused on summer style and how to be dressed and ready for any occasion. In outfit #1 I focused on one of the hardest looks to pull off for a younger gent. Its the dress shirt tucked into jeans look, usually used by older gents but it has really made a comeback with the younger guys. I think the correct way to approach the "tucked" look is by have the right fit on your garments. As long as the blazer, dress shirt and jeans are form fitting I think you are in the clear.

Now on to outfit #2, the sweater and blazer. Sometimes, as men we just want to feel free and comfy but at the same time feel stylish. I would suggest this look or even a nice plain t-shirt in light grey for the NYC summer heat. Notice in this look I decided to add sneakers to the mix, I am a huge champion of sneakers with blazers. Suits / blazers can be too serious as times, so throwing on a nice pair of statement sneaker like these ones from Freeman Plat are a perfect addition.

Well that is all for now, let me know what are your go to styles for this summer!

Happy Thursday! Finally back in the states after an amazing two week long Europe trip. Our last stop was the high fashion and industrial city of Milan. Many people have mentioned how Milan is different from most of Italy because its so modern and has a very NYC feel. I agree that Milan does feel that way, the modern design of the office buildings, houses and restaurants are exceptional and cannot be found in most places in Italy.

Now on to the juicy stuff, what did we do while in this beautiful city? Well, honestly we roamed everyday without a specific objective. The previous three cities (London, Paris, and Florence) had strict schedules, with Milan we wanted to relax and enjoy the architecture and the local delicacies. One of the best delicacies was the gelato, man there was a different gelato shop every single block. It was comparable to Starbucks in NYC. Food in Milan overall was pretty delicious. First night we went to this Sri Lankan restaurant called Serendib, make sure you stop by there if you are in town - they have an all you can eat menu that is to die for. The next night we had a chance to meet up with a fellow blogger, Blake Scott, and went to a very NYC like bar called Dry that had out of this world cocktails and brick oven pizza. On the last day we had a chance to get touristy and checked out the Duomo and took a few snaps.

I truly had such an amazing time traveling and meeting great people in each city. I would strongly suggest taking a trip to Europe or to even a neighboring city. Change up your routine and enjoy yourself a bit. Its healthy.
