Happy Friday everyone and hope you are gearing up for a long holiday weekend. I am excited to continue phase two of my partnership with I.W. Harper Whiskey.

In this phase we focused on summer style and how to be dressed and ready for any occasion. In outfit #1 I focused on one of the hardest looks to pull off for a younger gent. Its the dress shirt tucked into jeans look, usually used by older gents but it has really made a comeback with the younger guys. I think the correct way to approach the "tucked" look is by have the right fit on your garments. As long as the blazer, dress shirt and jeans are form fitting I think you are in the clear.

Now on to outfit #2, the sweater and blazer. Sometimes, as men we just want to feel free and comfy but at the same time feel stylish. I would suggest this look or even a nice plain t-shirt in light grey for the NYC summer heat. Notice in this look I decided to add sneakers to the mix, I am a huge champion of sneakers with blazers. Suits / blazers can be too serious as times, so throwing on a nice pair of statement sneaker like these ones from Freeman Plat are a perfect addition.

Well that is all for now, let me know what are your go to styles for this summer!

Happy Thursday! Finally back in the states after an amazing two week long Europe trip. Our last stop was the high fashion and industrial city of Milan. Many people have mentioned how Milan is different from most of Italy because its so modern and has a very NYC feel. I agree that Milan does feel that way, the modern design of the office buildings, houses and restaurants are exceptional and cannot be found in most places in Italy.

Now on to the juicy stuff, what did we do while in this beautiful city? Well, honestly we roamed everyday without a specific objective. The previous three cities (London, Paris, and Florence) had strict schedules, with Milan we wanted to relax and enjoy the architecture and the local delicacies. One of the best delicacies was the gelato, man there was a different gelato shop every single block. It was comparable to Starbucks in NYC. Food in Milan overall was pretty delicious. First night we went to this Sri Lankan restaurant called Serendib, make sure you stop by there if you are in town - they have an all you can eat menu that is to die for. The next night we had a chance to meet up with a fellow blogger, Blake Scott, and went to a very NYC like bar called Dry that had out of this world cocktails and brick oven pizza. On the last day we had a chance to get touristy and checked out the Duomo and took a few snaps.

I truly had such an amazing time traveling and meeting great people in each city. I would strongly suggest taking a trip to Europe or to even a neighboring city. Change up your routine and enjoy yourself a bit. Its healthy.

Happy #DapperMonday!! As you may know already I am giving out Summer Tips every week and this week we are focusing on the suit jacket. I had a candid conversation with my personal tailor,Cesar Renuan, and we both are firm believers that the double breasted jacket is the most desired suit jacket right now. So I decided to think outside the box and add some flavor by going with a beautiful deep burgundy with brown buttons that pops in the summer sun light.

Another amazing feature in this post is we had a impromptu photo shoot at the Cole Haan store in Soho. We made sure to capture unique details of the store and even tried on a pair of Zero Grand Oxfords that I had my eye on for a while now and they go perfect with my double breasted jacket. Gents, listen to me when I say good pair of shoes and a double breasted jacket can take your swag to the next level. Summer Tip #9 – Wear a double breasted jacket!

Happy #DapperMonday!! Today I am giving out more Summer Tips. Remember gents we have to adapt to this summer heat wave and still stay fly. As you may recall a few months ago I said green is the most popular color for men and I still stand by that bold statement. Green is the color of money, dominance, power, etc. Every year all the top golfers play for the much coveted green Masters Jacket. We should also be going out of our way to obtain the same accomplishments as it pertains to our lives and wear green. Ok gents now its time to go out and add something green to your closet! Summer Tip #3 – Buy something green!!! (preferably a blazer)

Ladies and Gents, Spring is here! My GOODNESS can I get a hallelujah one time!? Sheesh...

As you know, April showers bring May flowers AND amazing weather. Well gents, what that means for us is that we need to adjust to the weather and still maintain our swagger. This week I am featuring more pieces from my collaboration with my tailor Cesar Renuan. I spiced up the distinguished look of the double breasted blazer with pinstriped pants; both items should be at the top of your must have list for spring and summer. Another addition to the list should be monograming everything possible. If you paid your hard earned money for it, then put your initials on it. That's it for now, make sure to check out Cesar Renuan for any bespoke clothing.
