Hey guys, hope you're doing well. Now that summer is over its time to focus on the most important fashion season of the year which is fall. Fall is the best time for layers, bold colors and a good time to play around with different fabrics.

For this blog post, I teamed up with Perry Ellis to be a part of their #100PiecesofPerry campaign. Just as I mentioned before the fall is a great time to mix and match fabrics, so I decided to mix a denim shirt with cotton chinos and layer on a twill knit jacket. Another great addition during the fall is the fedora, when in doubt always put on a hat. A hat instantly elevates your outfit and adds some confidence. To round out the fall inspired outfit I went with some new kicks I just picked up from Five Four and their new collection designed by Mark McNairy. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I am a sucker for suede shoes and these are my new favorites.

Well that's all for now, let me know if you would wear this outfit and what other fall style essentials I may have missed. Talk soon!!

Hey everyone, hope your weekend is going well so far. Just finished up in Florence and was blessed to have the chance to attend Pitti Uomo 90 and peacock with best of the best from around the world in menswear. At the end of the day I was just happy to make it to Florence after some technical difficulties with travel and missed the first day of activities at Pitti. We made the best of our time in Florence and it was great to see old friends from around the world who feel like brothers to me.

Pitti is always a huge show with amazing suiting and the most popular faces in menswear. This was my first time attending the summer version of Pitti and it was boiling hot outside (about 85 degrees). With the weather this hot everyone was wearing linen and cotton blends. I chose to wear white pants which are a Pitti favorite and a sky blue peak lapel jacket. I tried to spice things up a bit with some driving moccasins from Cole HaanSurprisingly enough there were not too many over the top outfits with highlighter colors and people trying to grab all the attention. Most outfits were actually conservative and very simple. The color pallet was blues, browns, off white and greens.

P.S. Check out the squad goals from a recent snap on GQ with a few of the guys from Pitti and myself. Click here.

A few words on trends that I saw while at Pitti and my predictions for the next few seasons.

  1. White Pants: Not a huge must have in the U.S. yet but I would predict by fall 2017 most guys will be entertaining white pants every chance they get in warm weather
  2. Rings: Men are still getting comfortable with accessories and such. Some men still do not even wear watches. I  would predict rings to take a little bit longer to catch on but they will probably be important sometime by fall 2017
  3. Form Fitting Suits (not too tight): This is a tricky one, everyone now is worried about their suit being extremely tight and almost perfect. At Pitti I am seeing suits moving away from being extremely tight to being more form fitting and breathable. Still much slimmer than the old parachute suits worn by older business man.

Happy Humpday! Guys, its been a whirl wind this week. We had a tough time finding transportation from London to Paris. We tried to purchase train tickets from London to Paris for a 2-hour train ride and the price skyrocketed to around $250USD and we decided to take a 8hr+ bus ride from London to Paris. It was actually pretty neat to see the French countryside and we had a chance to meet people while we were on the bus. By the way, I know what your thinking, how did we take a bus to Paris if the only way is by water….. Well our bus drove for a few hours then the bus drove on a train and we went under water for a few minutes. So that was a cool highlight.

Anyways, while in Paris we were somewhat of tourist since none of us had been before and we did not have any strong contacts there. We went to The Louvre to see the Monna Lisa and did a photo shoot right outside. We also went to a few really cool cocktail bars like Experimental Cocktail Bar which reminded me of a NYC lounge in the lower eastside and we also went to another spot called Moonshiner which has a pizza shop in front of it and you have walk through a steel door that leads to an intimate speakeasy with a smoke room in the back.

Man, what a dream come true! Paris was so amazing, I wish I had more pictures to show!

Happy #DapperMonday!! Its been a while gents! I have good news, today is the 1 year Anniversary of Wall Street Paper. I cannot even believe how many blog posts, instagram posts and trips that were related to this amazing blog. God is so good!!! He put this crazy idea to start a fashion blog in my head while I was an investment banker on Wall Street and now this passion as a menswear geek has turned into a full-time gig all thanks to the the readers (you guys). So this blog post is dedicated to you guys, thank you for being so loyal. Now "Another one" a blog post to start the new year off right!

Happy #DapperMonday!! This week’s focus is on my trip to Port Washington, Wisconsin with Allen Edmonds! This trip was amazing because we had the opportunity to have a cool rental car (Cadillac), stayed in an amazing bed and breakfast hotel (The Port Hotel), and the best part of the trip was meeting the CEO and the rest of the Allen Edmonds' team when we had a tour of their factory where they make 2,500+ shoes everyday!! I will keep this blog post short because I believe the pictures speak louder than words.

I will leave you with two amazing reasons why you should invest in a pair of Allen Edmonds. First, Allen Edmonds is all about fit. They have a larger selection than any other dress shoe brand to my knowledge, which adds up to be over 100+ different sizes (size 6 to 16 and narrow AAA to wide EEE). Second, Allen Edmonds has a recrafting program. When your shoes are a few years old and they need a new sole and a shine, you can send them back to the company through the recrafting program. This program has 38 steps that will bring your old shoes back to life and leave them looking brand new. Gents, buying shoes is a huge investment. You would rather spend a few extra chips to get a pair thats fits well and is durable than buying a cheap pair that will run down easily. Well that is all I have this week, please let me know any Allen Edmonds stories you may have below and make sure to check them out if you haven't yet!!
