Happy #Humpday!!  The weather in NYC is getting better every day and it's getting me excited. Today my post features a mix of winter and spring textures/patterns out in the heat of Dumbo, Brooklyn. Some say to stayaway from wearing too much of the same color. Based on my blue on blue on blue, I clearly disagree. If you’re going to do it, go all out, the more the merrier. Remember when you go against the grain with unique creativity you can debunk old fashion myths and start to set trends. Be bold and start to build your own personal style that people come to know you for and admire you by.

Ladies and Gents, Spring is here! My GOODNESS can I get a hallelujah one time!? Sheesh...

As you know, April showers bring May flowers AND amazing weather. Well gents, what that means for us is that we need to adjust to the weather and still maintain our swagger. This week I am featuring more pieces from my collaboration with my tailor Cesar Renuan. I spiced up the distinguished look of the double breasted blazer with pinstriped pants; both items should be at the top of your must have list for spring and summer. Another addition to the list should be monograming everything possible. If you paid your hard earned money for it, then put your initials on it. That's it for now, make sure to check out Cesar Renuan for any bespoke clothing.

Happy #DapperMonday! I hope you all had a great Easter holiday and wore your Sunday's best to church. I know you are wondering what I wore, but we’re going to have to wait for next week before I share the outfit details. Instead, this week I want to introduce the Coffee Shop Series – a little change of pace where I will be hanging out with menswear influencers at the best hidden gem coffee shops in the NY area to share tips, tricks and threads.

Today's post is a collaboration with my man Rob Mangano (@dressedtoill). We met up Cafe Pedlar in Cobble Hill where we munched on some pastries, sipped on some coffee and talked over our Spring 2015 fashion plans before roaming around the Cobble Hill to check out some of the area’s unique menswear shops like Brooklyn Circus (@bkcircus).

As for my outfit, I switched it up with my favorite new piece, a double breasted blazer from a collaboration with my tailor Cesar Renuan. And, with the weather starting to warm up, I decided to layer it with a quilted vest instead of a top coat. Per usual, the Pharrell hat made an appearance. It just had to happen.

Be sure to let me know your thoughts on the new double breasted blazer and go check out @dressedtoill and Cafe Pedlar !!

Happy #DapperMonday! This week I traveled down to financial district to visit the famous Wall Street...also my namesake.  I'm honestly surprised that it took me this long to shoot down in this area. It was super fun to highlight a few of the historic attributes of the famous New York city street and of course I had to get a frame with every financier’s bread and butter publication, The Wall Street Journal. Now as far as the outfit details are concerned, I wanted to really focus on the wardrobe of the modern gent.  Every gent should add these new statement pieces to their wardrobe; a cutaway denim dress shirt, knit tie and a fun pair of socks for some character.  The Pharrell hat and double monk straps are icing on top of the cake for gents who want to go the extra mile and earn some brownie points. Dessert related puns intended.

What statement pieces have you recently added to your wardrobe?
