Happy #DapperMonday!! This weeks focus is on Labor Day essentials. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the long weekend and no better way to prepare then with a great outfit. I chose to keep it simple and classic whether you are going to the Made in America Music Festival or the Hamptons for the holiday weekend you will still be stylish. Simple essentials to this outfit are the denim shirt which can go with any color shorts (no long shorts gents, please go for right above the knee on the length) and the classic low top white sneakers. Happy #DapperMonday!! This week I decided to shoot at Lincoln Center which is one of my favorite places in the city. Lincoln Center is very elegant and is known for for hosting New York Fashion Week, the Metropolitan Opera House and some of the best art exhibits in the country. With such a timeless venue I decided to wear a double breasted merlot dinner jacket and added a straw hat to make the outfit pop. I kept the bottom half of my look simple with striped socks and brown cap toes. When was the last time you went to Lincoln Center and what event did you attend?

With the weather being so amazing lately I thought is would be perfect to pull out a vest and switch up the game really quick.  The wide brim straw hat helps me channel my inner Al Capone. To finish off the outfit I added suede double monks to add a little texture. With only a few weeks left in summer make sure you take advantage of wearing a vest / wide brim straw hat!
